Are you a woman that would like an opportunity to get to know other women while delving into God's Word?
Then join us this fall, in the Edinburgh Annex, for 2 Bible studies. Two time opportunities will be offered.
Every other Tuesday evening, beginning on September 6, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., or every other Thursday morning beginning September 8, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
First we'll use the series by Priscilla Shirer, Discerning the Voice of God. "Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying?
This Bible study is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice.
By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers."
The study is 7 sessions and will conclude on November 29 and December 1. Our second study will be Beth Moore's When Godly People Do Ungodly Things.
"In this Biblical guide to authentic repentance and restoration Beth examines why devoted followers of Jesus Christ can fall into the traps of Satan."
Also 7 sessions, this study will begin on January 10 and 12, and conclude on April 3 and 5. Both studies have a workbook that includes 5 days of homework per session.
Each homework session takes about 30 - 45 minutes to complete. The first meeting we will watch an introductory video and in the following weeks we will discuss our homework and view a video.
