A bank trust department, the trust department of a brokerage house or the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation,
can manage a trust. They will invest the principal and manage these assets for you, make the payments required,
and generally carry out the provisions of the trust.
For example:
A charitable remainder trust is an irrevocable trust that provides you with payments for your lifetime,
or a set term of years. These payments can be made to you or one or more income recipients. The Presbyterian Church
(U.S.A.) Foundation manages the trust assets and makes the payments. After your lifetime, the remaining trust assets
become available for the work of the Church according to your wishes.
If you feel a trust might help you carry out your goals for estate planning, please contact the Church Business Manager,
at (863) 294-3121 for a referral or more information. All inquiries will be handled promptly and confidentially.
