mission and sharing. Sharing our wealth, both spiritual and material,
is one of the cornerstones principles of our Presbyterian heritage.
Presbyterians have often been at the forefront of enlightened giving.
Reaching out and extending our blessings beyond our own lives is an
intrinsic part of Presbyterian stewardship.
As we embrace our material blessings, we must also accept the responsibility
of God’s gifts to us. That responsibility calls on us to be stewards of our
faith and use all of God’s gifts wisely.
In response, many Presbyterians choose to make gifts of their accumulated resources
through their wills, annuities, trusts or naming their church the beneficiary of
an insurance policy or a retirement plan.
